DiMarzio has a pretty good track record but like everyone else he gets things wrong. Really all he's saying is that City are prepared to sell at a price, that Valencia are prepared to pay a decent price, that Real might muscle in and that City would look to Falcao if Negredo goes. I don't think any of that is fanciful.

I'm talking about from the point of view of someone buying him and paying his wages until he recovers, then regains fitness, then regains match sharpness rather than waiting until the next window and letting City sort all that out.

Ah i see. I don't know on that front. Need for a striker maybe is ruling the head, especially for the likes of Valencia.
