Again, I'd go with that. We need to concentrate on bringing absolute best young English players in the future no expenses spared because of the UEFA rules. Otherwise we'll give too much of a head start for our competitors in the future.

Otherwise I'd still like to see some cover for Dave Silver and Nasri in creative midfield department. We simply don't have enough cover there. But there is zero point in bringing someone in for the sake of it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Di Marzio told Falcao could be signed by City only if someone will give us 25 ml £ for Negredo, definitively!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

We already have money from the sales of Rodwell & Garcia, so if we wanted to structure some kind of deal with say 20 mil as a loan, more paid next season, I imagine we could do that & possibly do a similar deal for Negredo going elsewhere.

The funniest thing about that twitter bollocks is the fear amongst other team's fans about the possibility of us signing him. They are shitting bricks because it's come from a so called 'reliable' source.

Maybe Real or Valencia will stump up the necessary cash. Negredo is clearly for sale at a price. If he goes I think a Falcao loan deal is very credible. The question is who would be out of the CL squad to accommodate him? Willy?

The much maligned mister Hairdoo on BM, is suggesting that all this comes from Real being interested in Negredo & him fancying going there.

Falcao would effectively be his potential replacement, if he went.

Twitter's hilarious at the moment. One search of Falcao just shows how anxious they all are.. it's like the thought of Falcao joining us has made them give up. Not gonna lie, I love the beast, but I wouldn't be sad to see this happen. It'd be pretty awesome.

The Count's protestations of keeping Negredo today, were not 100% convincing imo; I could imagine a bargaining position.

But for the club; what a great position to be in!

We have a perfectly good squad, but someone may wish to do a deal which makes it even better, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't matter a shit.

That's how I feel too; happy either way. But Falcao would suit City, to some tune.

It would mean leaving out a quality player for a season, who doesn't deserve to be left out, which means someone will be really pissed off. But it's going to be the case when Negredo is fit in a month or so anyway.

That's exactly the point. We're clearly prepared to sell Negredo but we're happy to keep him so we can screw Los Blancos or Valencia for top dollar. If he goes Falcao coming in makes a lot of sense. I can imagine Bayern CSKA and Roma wouldn't be thrilled.

On the other hand everyone knows we want to sell Richards Nastasic Sinclair and Guidetti so clubs are waiting till the end of the window to try and screw us on the price. At least we got shot of Rodwell and Garcia early.

Perhaps it's me who is full of shit getting the names mixed up.

Tbh, I tend to think most of them are though. They are bound to get one or two right out of 1000 per transfer window.

If you wanted one of them to be true, this is the one.

Has he played a CL game yet? (Not sure on French qualification)
