Best of luck Javi. We'll remember particularly Hull away and the FA Cup final win over Chelsea.

I'm amazed he has gone there and they have paid that fee but good luck lad. You did your best here.

Done really well to get that much for him.
Well played City.

Done really well to get 20 million for him and Rodwell.
Well played City. Would have been happy to get 10 million for the pair.

Obviously some of the magic dust chelsea sprinkle on their dealings with buying clubs has found its way to City

All the best Javi, not quite quick enough but capable of better than what we have seen so far & made some crucial contributions last season without which we wouldn't have been champs.

Also well done Txiki. We are gradually heading towards rag level sell on prices. If this keeps going, in a few years we'll be able to get 6-7 mil each for the least talented academy kids by giving them a couple of games in the League Cup, like they do.

Not too upset to see him go never felt he was good enough.I'm glad for him he eventually turned in some decent performances for City last season. At one stage I really couldn't understand it when I saw his name on the team sheet it used to drive me mad.All things considered that's a great price he's gone for.

Not too upset. He played well in the 2nd half of next season but is too slow so he had to go

Good luck to him. Better than he was credited with but worse than i hoped for.

He may not have been quick but he was dashing

We are a less handsome squad without him.

He's one of those players who, if he had got into the groove early on here at City could have gone on to be strong....it just never quite happened but as others have said, he did contribute which is much more than Rodwell (who is arguably a lot more talented and suited to the PL) ever did in sky blue.

Good luck Javi
