Not for me, im excited about Jovetic and falcao as good as he is is expensive and only back from a serious injury, id take him on loan to replace Negredo but definitly not Jojo

I second the notion on Negredo. Jojo has been on form at the moment and I'd like for him to keep his momentum. Even at the end of the season when he started playing a couple of games for us, he banged in a few.

this seemingly came out of nowhere.

no thank you. scoring 1 goal vs Arsenal in a friendly doesn't mean Falcao is back to his old self. if the club really want him they'd be advised to wait until next summer

Nope! really hope this doesnt happen, Jovetic has look fantastic pre season. Plus i have a bad feeling that if this were to go through he would be an expensive flop, more of a big name rather than a talent that city genuinely needs. There is no way he'd be happy playing as a 3rd or 4th striker, Aguero is our number 1, Dzeko has his critics but rarely disappoints as an alternative from the bench as with his form at the back end of last season, I am willing to give Negrado another season after a great start to the last one he can build on that and as said Jovetic is looking like a new signing for us. I really dont want us to go back to the club who chases butterflies and big names like when we first got the money, lets be a smart club that does good business and builds a club to be proud of!

so I take it we've already given up on negredo? ffs. if nothing else, he gives us a physical presence very different to dzeko/aguero/jovetic. not to mention his linkup and passing. falcao? pass.

No chance Jovetic will be leaving, however I'd be right on a loan move for Falcao. Have already suggested it as the dream situation. Don't trust Negredo personally. Too much going wrong mentally & physically, lot to prove. Get Falcao in on loan, sell Garcia, use Mangala as the cover for that spot as well as centre back, if the beast outdoes Falcao fine, keep the Beast, if not, sell the beast ( in Jan if poss) buy Falcao at a knockdown price next season. Win win win.

falcao would require silly wages. i believe taxes at ASMon are far lower than they would be in eng, so his demands would be even higher.

Depends if he's decided he prefers football to money.

Try ZERO for individual employees. He would need record wages to come over here unless he would take a huge cut. No thanks, Jovetic is doing just fine at the moment.

My thoughts exactly. One person makes something up and round the world it goes.

Why are Monaco willing to loan him out when they spent £53 million to buy him last summer?

In the pecking order he has to be considered 4th choice right now. Our first two are Dzeko and Aguero and with JoJo looking so sharp in preseason, he's going to be pushing for a regular starting spot. So if you were going to replace a striker, and Falcao is one hell of a striker, I think people would want to make the best of it. Rather than wanting a specific player gone, they don't want the other three to leave.

Some really sound advice there from someone who just... knows...

Anyway, there's almost no truth in this rumour. But that grain of truth is worth exploring if indeed it is there.

Of course.

Soriano said a centre back and that's it so I think we should take him at his word. Jovetic is going nowhere. After Mangala comes we're looking at outs only. Guidetti surely and Richards. Then Rekik back on loan and maybe Nastasic as well in which case City obviously see Sagna as a fourth centre back.
