Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I really hoped he'd make it with us, but those two years of almost constant injury really put an end to it here for him and for whatever reason(s) Pellegrini didn't like what he saw last season when he tried him, so all in all it has been good business for everyone getting a deal done.

We've done well if the reported £10mil figure is acurate.

Thanks Jack, it's been emotional.

I'm not a betting man but if I was I'd put a lot of money on Rodwell scoring the only goal in a Sunderland 1-0 win over us at the SoL. Rarely has there been a bigger certainty in football. Can picture it now, he'll fire one in from the edge of the area in about the 30th minute. I should get some sleep.

We have done well if it's half that as well.

Goodbye Jack. Good luck son.

Cheers

Sadly never came close to the talent we all hoped he would become. Good luck to him, I hope his glass legs don't hinder the rest of his career.

I'm not usually sensitive to these things but lots of papers/tweets seem to be blaming city that he has injured for the large part of the last 2 seasons by implying that we just didnt play him

Dont under-estimate their ignorance on City matters mate. They just assume we never played him, injuries are discounted from their small brains.

I saw a video on Jovetic's pre-season highlights and the comments were all about how City were ruining him by not playing him. Working to put that perception right.

Mmmmm

That would pre-suppose that they've got brains in the first place.
