BT Sport going up

Postby john@staustell » Wed Jul 30, 2014 2:01 pm

"Hello,
From 1 October 2014 we're changing the price of BT Sport from £12 to £13.50 a month. In return, we're bringing you even more of the best in unmissable live sporting action, with Europe's new elite rugby competition joining Barclays Premier League matches"

No mention of fucking off Michael Owen, which they surely must. Otherwsie I'll be on the cancellation list.

They've brought Scholes in as a commentator - I hope that means they've binned Owen but I bet they haven't.

Scholes accent is terrible(no offense to anyone who sounds like him!) he would be just as bad as Owen.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My SKY went up from £69 to £73 so I called to cancel (didn't really want to cancel just wanted a deal), "he I've called to cancel my subscription with you, times are hard and I'm struggling with the costs" I said, expecting a no problem you can have it for 6 month at half price but no, I got a " ok your payment goes out on July 31st, 30 days after that it will be turned off".
I nearly burst out crying but I couldn't back down.
Just bought an android box, no idea how to use it but got a few weeks till season starts to get it working.

They are such thieving bastards in the UK - I have sky here on monkey island and I pay around 50 US dollars a month (THATS HBO films and every sporting event) and I get just about every important match in the prem every weekend and during the week.....

Fuck knows why you lot pay what you pay..and then pay per view is even more laughable.....
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Haha, here in India you can watch all PL matches and a lot more for something like 100 rupees for a month. And with illegal channel operators even less than that. At current rates, that would be equivalent to 1 pound!

Ofcourse, we have to put up with Peter Drury's commentary as a trade-off.

Swap you Peter Drury for Owen every day of the month.

Maybe the extra couple of quid each month is to pay Owen off? Or hire a hitman

Phew.

Steady on Beefy; the very thought of that has turned me off my dinner.

Good and appropriate description of Scoles though.

hi everyone. I told BT I was cancelling in May and they have given me 3 months completely free. I've just phoned up to cancel before the bills go up again and they have offered me 12 months at £8 all in or 3 months at £6 followed by 3 months at £12. Def worth telling them you are leaving as suddenly they come up with a decent offer the robing scumbags!
