I said Maureen was an idiot by selling Mata, but since he came to filth, he was beyond shite.

Maybe Jose knew something.

I was gonna come on here and make fun of the rags, but it would be too cruel. It's like laughing at a disabled kid falling out of his wheel-chair.

Who knew Bacon was this massively important to them. It's a different world without him, no matter the money they throw at it.

They used to say he was worth 10pts on his own.... looks more like 40pts now imo.....

Much as I'm loving their decline I really do think we should win our games before taking the piss out of them.

Looks like they're offloading as much as they can to pay for Tia's wages. Shit-Pea, Zidane and Kawazaki all out of the door or near to it.

Januzaj has allegedly made comments after the MK Dons game having doubts about his future there due to Van Gaal's system & the signing of DiMaria.

Apparently he was told to play centre mid at MK Dons.

I saw the highlights & assumed LVG had just told everbody to do whatever they want.

As this was the first weekend I had Fox Sports back on and Joans are being cracked down on someting fierce, I hadn't really had a chance to watch the rags until now. But I was shocked at how poor they were, this was not a team that is just off the pace a little and adjusting, they are slow and lacking in talent to a shocking degree. How Bacon got even the remnants of this team to win a title I'll never know.

Many years back now I saw Ratboy ping a ball 60 yards from the half way line(right side) to the 18 yard box(left side) and the ball landed at a teammates feet, trapped with casual skill and thought, fuck me I wish we had players who could do that. And this was just how they played...now it would take 10 passes and going through the centrehalves for them to get the same ball in that position.

The centre halves would lose it

Now they have Falcao & DiMaria.

Failure is not an option; they have no excuses. Except they do have an excuse, in that half their team is shit, but that doesn't wash now, because they have just spent fucking fortunes on new players & they have chosen which positions they strengthened. Nobody forced them to ignore some positions & sign players elsewhere, it is their decision.

They have a much stronger team on paper, than the one Hughes had for example & therefore should be under much more pressure to succeed than City were at that time or indeed when Mancini came, as they have just spent100s of millions on top of a squad which won the league two years ago.

This squad should now be amongst the favourites for the title.

Anything other than a genuine title challenge is abject failure.
