on the back of thursday's event, surely there is no way that fifa can allow putin and his country of fucking scumbags (the leadership) to host the wc in 2018....

That would assume FIFA is some kind of scrupulous, accountable body.
They will award anyone anything if it benefits them in some way or another. It's fucking disheartening to say but when considering Russia for WC hosts, I doubt last week's actions even registered with FIFA.
