Gervinho swapped sides before Zaba even got near him. I was laughing when Ljajic went to the left, criminal decision from Garcia.

i like that he apparently told his wife he hoped that he would score at least once during her 8 month pregnancy. and he's now scored twice and i think she's got a ways to go.

love the guy. when he kissed the badge after scoring it felt like he really meant it..not that bullshit with other players who kiss it first day on the scene.

Course he does, the guy bleeds sky blue.

Came in before the money, 3½ more years and he gets a testimonial.

The point about Zaba bleeding blue is an important one for City's future. The point was made during the opening of the CFA about the longer term legacy of the club. The Academy can teach youngsters to play for the club, but it is the previous players that evolved into City supporters that can teach the kids what it all about to play for the club.a
In the past, Book, Summerbee, Lee, Paul Lake, Gary Owen etc have fulfilled that role. Latterly Uwe and the Goat have come back somewhat onto the City scene. From this team, Arsenal certainly missed out on the talents of Paddy Vieira.

From the present and recent players, Micah has already expressed a wish toplay some part in our future and I can see Vinnie settling into a nice job here too. Zaba arrived as an Argentinian, I think he also will remain or return to City in some capacity.

i can see the next global strategic aquisition/partnership being in south america with argentina being the logical choice given our strong connections to the country added to the rich seam of talent we can tap into over there
boca city has a nice ring to it with zabba and mdm running things

I'm all for expanding the City group etc but it'd be a shame to bastardise a world famous club like Boca Juniors. Thankfully I don't think we'll ever do anything like this.

Well we know he scored at least once more than he did on the pitch and she may be having twins.

I hope Zabs has already booked a place at the academy for his youngster (male or female).

He's crucial to our attacking system but you can't let someone like Gervinho run riot against you.

Time for Zaba to be demoted to second choice. Sagna is better.

absolute bullshit. he had a decent game with one slip up.

We cant drop every player once they have the odd slip. Zabba was key to so many attacks today and created so much space for Navas, who missed a number of one on ones (should he be dropped too?). Nasri was way too slow (hobbling like he was injured but was fine a minute later) coming back for sunderlands 1st goal and lost the midfield runner, maybe drop him

All round I don't think there is much doubt Zaba is our best and first choice right back but I do think Sagna is the better defender. Zaba is prone to what he did today and generally giving away fouls in dodgy areas but there is no taking away that he is a great attacking full back and an absolute warrior.
