I bet other clubs brazilians will be available why isnt fern? Coutinho scored the other night for liverpool so hes around, yet fern hasnt kicked a ball? madness...
Anyway i play them, i am all for kids playing but we dont have anyone actually good in this position, how unfit can fern be? even play him for a hlaf then bring on Zuculini/Evans but in the cold light of day neither are good enough and to go into the season in this position is dreadful.
Someone give Joey bartona shout, hes got no club and is homegrown :D
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fernandinho didn't get a proper rest after the WC last year and it showed big time. I'm all for giving him Serg, and Zabba a proper break so they can sustain top form over this whole season. If all three of them can (knock on woods), we got a good shout at some silverwear. Reminds me of the lumberjack story:
It was the annual lumberjack competition and the final was between an older experienced lumberjack and a younger, stronger lumberjack. The rule of the competition was quite simply who could fell the most trees in a day was the winner.
The younger lumberjack was full of enthusiasm and went off into the wood and set to work straight away, he worked all through the day and all through the night. As he worked he could hear the older lumber jack working to in another part of the forest, he felt more and more confident with every tree he felled that he would win.
At regular intervals throughout the day the noise of frees being felled coming from the other part of the forest would stop, the younger lumberjack took heart from this knowing that this meant the older lumberjack was taking a rest, whereas he could use his superior youth and strength and stamina to keep going.
At the end of the competition the younger lumberjack felt confident he had won, he looked in front of him at the piles of felled trees that were the result of his superhuman effort.
At the medal ceremony he stood on the podium confident and expecting to be awarded the prize of champion lumberjack, next to him stood the older lumberjack who looked surprisingly less exhausted than he felt.
When the results were read out he was devastated to hear that the older lumberjack had chopped down significantly more trees than he had, he turned to the older lumber jack and said,
“How can this be? I heard you take a rest every hour and I worked continuously through the night, once more I am stronger and fitter than you old man”.
The older lumberjack turned to him and said, “Every hour I took a break to rest and sharpen my saw, you little arrogant cunt”

conflicting reports saying he's being loaned to Benfica while others say Benfica have signed him on a 5 yr deal.
either way, sounds like he's going to Benfica
EDIT: now Benfica are denying it

Strange. Every time he's played he's looked the part.

Bruno Zuculini: Middlesbrough sign Man City youngster on loanChampionship side Middlesbrough have signed Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old has made just one substitute appearance for City since joining from Racing Club in August 2014, as a substitute in the Community Shield against Arsenal.
The former Argentina Under-20 international spent last season on loan at La Liga sides Valencia and Cordoba.
He has been signed by Boro as cover for injured midfielder Adam Forshaw.I wondered where he'd got to.

He really deserves to be starting more matches, maybe that month will get his name known a bit more over here. (No idea what he's like in training or as a person but his preseasons have looked promising anyway)

Seems to be city stating the length. Evans is for 1 month also with Walsall desperate to increase it.

Strange isn't it? He's looked pretty darned good every time I've seen him play but once we hit the regular season he just disappears.

Wasn't named in the squad, and wasn't young enough to not count, and therefore not eligible for the EDS either. Meaning he couldn't play any football, anywhere. Pathetic management tbh! We literally left him stuck in limbo.

i thought that alright, we may aswell give him away somewhere until Jan even if we pay his wages as he will learn nothing sitting around the CFA counting daisies....

I can only imagine that he was due to go on loan and it got pulled/stopped last minute of transfer dead line.
I don't think it would have been like the club to shit on him intentionally, otherwise we would have heard something from his agent in the press?
