Strong rumours that we signed him. 7 mil euros.

Quality if true, he is better that our Joe.

In what world is he better than Hart?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Wait-one, why would we pay 7 mil for somebody to sit on the bench?

I guess you didn't saw Malaga the last two seasons. He was, without question, the best keeper in Spain. Better than Casillas, Valdes. And just this year, maybe a bit behind the keeper from Atletico. He is solid, incredible reflexes and most of all, he does not do silly mistakes like Joe does.

He is here to be a starter, maybe not at first, but i am prepared to bet at the first mistake Joey will do, he will be benched.

PS: Look up Atletico Madrid - Malaga and Real - Malaga or better yet, Atletico and Real vs Caballero.

Pellers go to man when Joe's dropped. Could see the back of Joe Hart.

Has this been officially announced? Or just a rumour? If true its good news. A really good goalie who will keep Hart on his toes. Not a bad thing, especially after last Autumn. Don't think it mean mean end to Hart just yet though. We will have enough games that Caballero will have some reasonable game time

He's gone mate. Txiki is sure to bring a hispanic keeper in, it's all the craze with us at the moment. It makes sense of course, if all your bosses speak the language. I'm just hoping Vinnie picks it up soon.

All the rumours seem to trace back to a claim by a Spanish radio station 'Cadena COPE'. The source-less UK tabloid articles seem to be based on the online articles linked to the radio station. No idea how credible the claim is, but I was thinking the other day we'd been quiet on the goalkeeping front. I would be inclined to think he would come for competition with Joe if true though, which should keep Joe on his toes at the very least.

Considering how much time our Vinnie spends on the treatment table I'm sure he'll speak Spanish like a native in no time

I still think this Willy boy will be our no.2
But hopefully this will spur Hart on to become a better keeper

Some fans should do their homework before they comment - Willy is one of the best keepers in Spain and was very unlucky not to get picked for the WC.

An excellent buy for us.

I've watched Malaga. He is not better than Hart. It's amazing how underappreciated Hart is among our supporters.

If this deal goes through the british media will create a shitstorm every time we let a goal in, trying to stir up a controversy about our goalkeeping number 1.

Caballero, though not as good as Hart, is good enough to be number 1 somewhere else hence Im surprised if he does agree to come just to sit on his arse.
