I normally find that the first pics of new shirts don't show them in a good light and they do, on the whole, look better in person and on the players.

That's my hope/theory regarding the away shirt anyway.

you prefer to see a top two sizes too small ensconscing Kate Upton's giant mammaries for your first real "look" at a new kit, don't you?

Who wouldn't? What a marketing strategy that would be.

i'd personally call that "sales" and not "marketing" but....whatever.

Odd that teams don't do that really. Pin up calendar kit launch for their fave charity cause so the do-gooders can't bitch too much? boom.

it'd be in every cunts garage or man cave. FACT.

i personally would find it insulting, and sexist. But i happen to think both of those things are okay in just the right doses.

cheers

Oh only around £60 ish

ONLY!

I find it very expensive but that's probably because I don't put my money into it for myself. I get the lad (bloke) a top but have never felt the need to show I'm a Blue.

Apart from the '71 ish top that my lad got me, it's the Bollox.

That's the home shirt and we have gone back to blue shorts and socks. It's nice in the flesh. I'm told the away one is actually really nice and he pics doing the rounds don't do it any justice. Third kit sounds nice but can't really say anymore at the mo. I think this will be the one people like.

Roughly 10 seasons on the bounce, we went back to white after promotion in '85 and have worn blue shorts for only 2 separate seasons since, due to them looking shite

White shorts. Blue shorts. Does it matter and do people really give a fuck?

They can wear mankinis for my money if a pot is on the sideboard in May

What about those newfangled nutt trusses that slingshot yr balls and just come in from one side?

I agree about the blue shorts. If we were 7 years olds and loved garanimals, then..."yay!"...otherwise.

The kit is part of the clubs identity, lets see how many times Coventry City are mentioned when we walk out head to toe in sky blue

I think the trims aren't black but dark/navy blue ... and the shorts and socks sis mentioned as blue are navy/dark blue as well. Remember towards the end of last season we played two games in those funny/odd combination where they wore navy blue shorts of third kit with home shirt and sky blue socks with them ... it's easier to photoshop those 'in action' pictures with bits and pieces of the new kit when it comes out and all the fancy photos show all of a sudden them playing a game in the kit ...
