I love it and while we have other threads on the subject of the new site, I thought some people might want a place to express their appreciation as well.

I'm still not that fond of the new site as I mainly use my iphone (so always used the app). But I'm getting used to it and it works ok.

But I Do want to say huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in all the work that goes on behind the scenes. Without you we would not have this forum.

I can only echo what the honourable member says in his opening address & would also like to convey my grattitude to all involved.

Is there chance of an app? This new one seems to kill my phone data sadly.

If you hoover with your mouse over the name of a new topic, a pop-up comes up, showing the first and last posts of the thread + the avatars of the posters.

Its all MRM and the new host, they did all the hard graft on this, I really appreciate the site and love the new detailed features and it will only get better too.

I have totally taken on board the feedback regarding the App and this is going to be under discussion at the next AGM (when KK returns from Tenerife)

I don't think we need a new app in terms of usability. If it is a data hog I haven't noticed yet...but maybe I will when I get the bill! :)

Sorry mate, that typo made me chuckle

Already said it in another thread but definitely worth mentioning again. A big thankyou to those involved, sounds like mainly MRM. I'm nowhere near as frequent a visitor to the site than I used to be but the work that something like this entails must be hugely time consuming. Thanks again.

Glad you're away from the old hosts and their general cnutishness, and really like some of the stuff I've discovered, probably much more waiting to be found.
