Suárez is mixed race, with a black grandfather. Suárez's grandmother used to call her husband "Mi Negrito", and blamed that for the alleged words her grandson used during his altercation with Patrice Evra

Suarez's long-time international colleague Lugano went even further, claiming in comments published in Ovacion that the Juventus defender was the one at fault, as he had drawn attention to something that should have been left between the pair on the pitch.
"The worst of all was the attitude of Chiellini," former West Brom centre-back Lugano said. "He is a great player, has had a great career, and it is not normal in Italian football for a player to leave the pitch crying and accusing an opponent. He completely disappointed me as a man. I admired him."

That has to be the oddest thing I've read in a while. What I got from it was "We're all racist and we don't see anything wrong with it".
And the casual way in which Oscar Redo referred to black people as things as though there was nothing wrong with that.

I find the idea that his ban shouldn't include Liverpool matches extraordinary.
Evidently, mercy should be shown as long as the player has rationed his violence out amongst the various competitions he's involved in.
I reckon Suarez still has Champions League and Copa America bites available to him.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

Can't really see the problem to be honest. I blame Fifa. They introduced drinks breaks should the humidity and temperature get to high, yet no one thought of having snack breaks!
Ban the that twelve months and make it ALL games inclusive of kick abouts in the back garden!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

According to Chinners' bollox, the Uruguay FA have jumped in claiming it's the Italians, the English press & the Brazilians who are behind a smear campaign.
If they are willing to back the cunt in his actions, then they should throw the fucking team out. End of.
And Suarez should be banned from all football related activities, not allowed to be a martyr crying to the camera every time he scores a goal.

I think his next 20 matches in all comps is fair. Likely that'll be about 18 of which are in a scouse or barca shirt. Fine of 500k for bringing the game into a negative light. And Uruguay need some kind of punishment for this conspiracy bollox as well.

Banned for nine games and for four months from "all football activities". Any appeal would not temporarily lift the ban.

9 game ban from international football.
Fined 100,000 swiss francs (£66k)
Banned from all football for four months. So cannot play for Liverpool until end of October. Missing 9 prem league games plus 2 league cup games and matchday 1, 2 & 3 of the UCL.
Also banned from all football stadiums for 4 months.
Transfer Activity is not affected, I hope they dont sell him TBH. I dont want them making a mint and getting someone decent in from the 1st game

wish the four month ban was longer.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Feel that's too light. Almost 1 and half month of that 4 will go away in pre-season. Uruguay are likely to go out anyway without him. So those 9 games will most be friendlies.
