I used to like that. Edit - found it, thanks :-)
Interesting colour options.

Nope but we've gained a big, brighter and shinier main website @ http://mancityfans.net.

In due course we'll be looking for news editors for this site if anyone is interested.

Pleased with the load speed and quickness of the site. Took a while to get that sorted. No more resource limit reached errors for us.

One thing I have noticed MRM is that I am having to log in everytime I open the page. Even when I have created a direct bookmark link on homepage of android phone.

Anyone else finding this?

Hey chaps - still well impressed with the new site on the mobile, i haven't trued it on the lappy yet. Great work!!

One bug i've noticed and managed to get it to happen twice, on the Iphone when i'm scrolling through the threads, it open a dialogue box with 'first post' 'last post' but i cannot see anyway of closing it - work around is to click to something and then return to the forum by the jump links (using back page still shows the dialogue box)

Have posted a screen capture (hopefully it loads!)

Chopper was jst posting on the App and I have also been able to but they are not showing on the new site

The app is no longer associated with this new forum so it won't work anymore.

Will it ever? I rather prefer it..just curious

That's one for the lads to decide based on the costs of running the app. The app doesn't do half the things you can using this responsive template in a phone browser so it seems like wasted money to me.

Makes sense. Cheers

In safari on iPhones you click the middle button at the bottom of the browser (between "forward" and "bookmarks"). Then you click add to home screen. But make sure you do this on the home page for the forum as it will add a link to whatever URL you have open. That's how I'm doing it

I've also noticed that the threads aren't updating on mobile (it might just be the browser in general) with most recent poster.

Also, maybe the threads titles can change colors based on whether you've read the most recent post or not. Now, it's that little arrow is orange when unread and blue when read but that's very hard to keep track of. Just an idea.

Seems to be a theme developing with Android devices not loading up the new site. The cache must be harder to get rid of on them. I look into seeing if there is a way to force reload the site and its files from the server side.

That sounds like a corrupt cookie setting to me as its not remembering you. Delete the cookie from mancityfans and it will recreate a new one.

That's the topic preview, it loads on hover over the topic title on desktops. It doesn't work too well on touch devices. You have to reload the page to get rid of it. I don't think that mod is mobile friendly. Best thing to do is when scrolling down scroll on the right hand side and avoid the topic titles.

I got it to work on my android now.
It probably has nothing to do with it, but it didn't work until I had logged in on thw new site via a laptop.

Personally, I think my mobile phone usage will go down. I loved how fast and simple the app was, and I also already miss the spell check on my phone, which was triggered on the app, but not in the browser.

Dont get me wrong, i love the look of the new site, but for my mobile, i prefe text-only app.

The insert image does a nice little lightbox enlarge photo effect.

As does the insert thumbnail option

Edit - the insert image is good for images under 700px width - over that then they won't get displayed fully. However, the insert a thumbnail feature allows the image to get displayed in full via an overlay effect - not sure how well that will work on mobile though.

Little disappointed with this change tbh. Don't particularly like these kind of forums and I used the app very, very often. Gutted it doesn't work now.

I used to like the app, but now I have got used to this I don't suppose I'll miss it. New site seems very quick do far, response wise (unfortunately my typing is as slow as ever)
