What a snidey thing to say. Also shows how fucking little you know, when my sister died I got all sorts of small things out of proportion for quite a while.

I'm sure the club spoke for most fans when giving their condolences to the family, they certainly spoke for me.

Thanks Socs.

My Mum died in January and your comment describes how things have been going for me.

In a strange way, it somehow helps, particularly as my Sister-in-Law has been battling lung cancer for some months now and she is now in the terminal phase of life, just to compound matters.

Thanks again chum.

So sorry to hear Mikhail. Totally get it, since my sister lost my brother-in-law to cancer and was horrible and since then my mum has gone too. Feel free to PM me if you could use an experienced and sympathetic ear.

Fucking scary weirderama stuff when you hear of somebody so young taken. Makes you think how lucky you are. Don't waste time and life being bloody miserable. You only get one chance and sometimes it aint for long.
Much sadness to the Toure family

I am totally perplexed how the brothers are not returning. In fact, I am amazed they went in the first place.

Terrible news all the less.

Maybe their brother told them to go, that he would want their country to do well and his brothers to be a part of it.

Leopoldo Luque's brother died in a car crash a few days before World Cup 78, but he continued because he said his brother was a fan and a proud Argentinian who would have wanted him to play.

Condolences to the guys. Terrible thing, no-one should be gone at 28, 38, 48 etc.

Three people I know have died of cancer within 10 days of diagnosis. From one report I read, it was a 'very short' fight with cancer.

Yes mate, I'm well aware. However, it was mentioned that Ibrahim was already receiving treatment at Christie's which would suggest it wasn't just in the last few days.

Not having a go though, just find it very strange, especially with regard to their faith.
