NYCFC Transfers

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

NYCFC Transfers

Postby FA cup winners 2006 » Wed May 28, 2014 11:00 am

Does anyone know how the MLS transfer system works in relation to designated players. Can City get it to work in their favour.

For example could NYCFC sign Xavi for £30mill and City sign Fabregas for £10mill. Xavi would very much benefit NY and we sign a player for a fraction of hos value.

If something like this would work, who else could we convince to go to NY and take a player to City in a double deal.

It would be nice, but there is no chance of this happening, I am sure Doomy, Mikhail and others have explained this in detail in other threads, I cant say I could articulate completely correct so wont even try. However, for your own Sanity, just put it to bed as not possible :-)

Just seen that. Could he do a job for a top premier league club for a couple of months from January, covering for the inevitable injury to their number one striker? I think he could.

Madness... but a hell of a lot of internet ITK's (12 year olds on half term) actually are claiming a long term victory on this one today. You couldn't make it up.

And now apparently Frank Lampard...

That'd be pretty impressive to be fair. Villa and Lampard are very high profile footballers.

I think i'll actually find myself supporting them if they mix pros like that with some of our youngsters. I'd bloody love it.

But hey what about Japan then? Oh, wait, we're buying one in China too (reports suggesting one of the Shanghai clubs to be announced soon, majority stake like NY and Mel) ...
