One hit wonder or are they buying the real thing? What's Isco thinking now?

Isco to the dippers? I know it's silly season but that was rumoured over the weekend.

Who's foolish enough to pay 14 million for Borini? Sunderland?

Yes. But I read somewhere a valid point on all this, and that is that a lot of mid-lower table teams in the prem, even though comparatively wealthy due to the new TV deal, still dont have the pulling power to attract the top echelon names, either on the way up or down, so in a way, as they've had a look at Borini last season, and he did fairly well, its probably seen as a good solid signing rather than pay 4-5 mil less on a punt for a van wolfswinkel type who becomes a complete flop. I agree, It is totally OTT but I thought that was a fair enough point.

Yes, but an AWESOME name though. Ricky van Wolfswinkel. Or with a little creativity Dicky van Wolfsdick.

No idea why Vorm would move to Spurs to sit behind Lloris. Interesting

I thought that was a strange one as well, but can only assume that it's all about cash. Vorm knows he will never get the chance as first choice for Holland after being overlooked in the WC, so maybe he's lost a bit of motivation and don't see the need of playing every week.

Cillissen was far from impressive and Van Gaal is gone now...so Vorm could become #1 if he impresses at club level. Now that won't happen

I read an article, but cannot find link, basically said they were forced into it. Had a need and with restrictions probably (or is it confirmed) on transfer had to get someone in. But yeah Humels much better choice.

Real Madrid sell 345,000 James Rodriguez replica shirts in 48 hours

Real Madrid have so far sold approximately £20million worth of 'James' replica shirts since the Colmbian forward was unveiled at the Bernebeu

Real Madrid are well on their way to recouping the reported £71million paid to Monaco for the signature of Colombia phenomenon James Rodriguez.

Spanish paper Sport have reported that, according to the company Euromericas Sport Marketing, Real Madrid have so far sold approximately 345,000 'James' replica shirts in the 48 hours since the forward was unveiled at the Bernebeu in front of 44,000 fans.

That’s roughly 7,188 shirts sold per hour worldwide and at £60 each equates to about £20.7 million in sales.

Gerardo Molina, Professor Emeritus in Sports Marketing said today in Sport:

"The expection is that the player (James) will sell product at the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo who has sold over one million shirts since arriving at Real Madrid"

Hmm.

Ronaldo 1m in how many years ? This guy more than 30 % of that in a few hours ?

I wonder if one shop in Spain 'sold' about 250k.

Hummels is not on sale and certainly not for 20 million. Why do people keep wittering on about him.

...maybe because the press held onto Vidals bone for too long and needed another one to play with...surely even those thick cunts in the press and the twits that believe their shit now realise if they dont do something with with their defence they are nowhere..hence Hummels...2+2=6...

If we sold Yaya I believe he would have been the first choice target, but other than that, can't see why we'd need him, can't play four central midfielders, we're not Chelsea.

I was thinking more of the 'Going to Manchester' rather than Trafford mate ;-)
