You can be sure we'll be told that Van Gaal didn't really want him in the first place. I'd like him here to be honest and would be prepared to sell the Beast to get him. I think he'd give us pace and width down the left which we lack at the moment. Better than Navas on the Right to be honest on last season's showing.

but now it seems PSG are in for him and will pay 60m euros. that, paired with Luiz's transfer fee and them making no significant sales, surely means they're saying "fuck you" to FFP.

..yes, their middle finger is about half an inch away from Platini's nose if this is the case. You know what? good luck to 'em

They automatically qualify for FFP immunity because of what, who and where they are.

This is quite acceptable to the Fat Frenchman and his cronies because PSG might be the only club who can stop the 'Evil Empire' that is City, achieving world domination.

L'Equipe writing that talks between PSG and Di Maria not going well. This is partly, they say, because he'd rather go to the Premier League. Love him here to be honest but we'd have to sell to buy him.

Don't really see the problem . If PSG can blatently flaunt the rules by making such offers so can anyone else.

PSG might sell Cavani and Marquinhos and if so they could raise a lot of money to offset somewhat expensive purchases.

I heard they actually cooled their interest in him as his feet were badly burned by the hot coals every player walks over to sign for them

Watched quite a few videos on this Markovic fella Liverpool have signed cos he's meant to be dead good and all that...

But seriously, how does he manage to look very, very average on Youtube compilations?! Even Samaras looked incredible on the internet.

Is there anything Lopes couldn't do there? And no one's paid £20million+ for Lopes either. If Markovic is seen as a huge talent then Lopes surely should be too cos he's every bit as good based on what i've seen.

Chelsea have agreed a deal for Felipe Luis.

Fabregas, Costa/Luis/Courtois, Lukaku and Zouma all in one summer. Never bought into the 'little horse' stuff last year, but there surely can't be any excuses if they don't win trophies with this squad.

"Arturo Vidal will not be joining Manchester United, say Juventus"

Was this ever a possibility? Who would leave the Italian Champions for a mid table club with no CL football?

Only 1 year left on his contract.

I'd actually thought there were signs of transfer fees settling down a bit, then PSG go and blow 50m on Luiz and it all kicks off again. I wonder how willing they'd have been to spend that kind of money on him if they hadn't been keen to send a 'fucl you' to UEFA.
