I watched he game last night and thought Nathan Redmond put the poor year behind him and looked a decent threat, he got credited with a hat-trick but in truth it should have only been two.

there was some good talent on show, I think Redmond could do a decent job in the prem given time, but the one player who I had never heard of before was the left back Luke Garbutt, he is at Everton and is never going to displace Baines at the moment. However, this lad looked brilliant last night, full of energy up and down the pitch, a good turn of pace and good decision making on when to pass and cross and when to come inside or go outside. Maybe the Enlgand Left back position will have good cover over the next decade (when Greg Leigh gets given a chance :-)) with Shaw too.

Typical England when we have about 9 left backs and only that liability johnson on the right

I watched about an hour of it & tbh I thought you would struggle to make top Premier League player out of combining the best bits of all of them, on both sides.

The players who did have talent, seemed fairly stupid.

I thought you had an eye for good young talent Ted, you seemed impressed with Greg Leigh and Angelino in the EDS on the left side but IMO Garbutt looks a really good prospect.

Clarified the last paragraph a bit.
