Never mind him, I hope we're watching who Atletico are interested in replacing him with. They have a golden touch.

According to Bollox in Spain they're targeting some bloke called Negredo along with Immobile and Bacca.

Is this nailed on? Athletico would be fools to allow him to leave.

Has a 32 million buy out clause so can't stop it. Looks like it's happening. Top signing for them. One of the best strike rates in Europe at the moment

Jo had a great strike rate for CSKA. Prior to this season he has not been prolific. I smell a dud

So...if they win the league next season theyve bought it, right?

Jo is going the World Cup. He's the real deal

Seriously though, Costa is a very good player imo

Costa has had a stop start career, he's a bit of a maverick. I like him but is he a Mourinio chess piece, I doubt it.

I've heard those last 2, but apparently Immobile wants to join Dortmund. But whoever Atletico get we should keep an eye on

Of course not, only we do that.

I agree. We should buy whoever they're going to get as a replacement, then nick their scout.

The player at the moment it seems. They say in football, you sell one player, you should already have their replacement.
I am sure Atletico does. I would like to see us stay within the CL limits but still get some great players this year.

And Alves who Middlesbrough bought. His scoring rate was ridiculously good. Was a total flop. It's no guarantee because you adapt to this league or you struggle.

He's a big strong lad & has been knocking the goals in, but if I could choose, I'd much rather see Chelsea sign him than some of the other possible options. When Negredo is on form, I don't think Costa can lace his boots. Unfortunately, Negredo has been crap & may have lost his World Cup place to him.

Although Costa was absolute dogshit for Spain, so perhaps neither will go.

I have seen him a few times and he looks a handful but nothing amazing, I will look forward to see how he handles the premier league, hopefully he is having a season of his life and next season will be a duffer.

Im not too worried about Costa. Maureen is under the spotlight next season as he won fuck all this season. Whilst we need to press on the pressure is somewhat off as Pellers has proven he can do it. An iffy start for Chelsea next season and the pressure will really be on. If we can buy 2 or 3 players in the right places then next season bodes well.
