He's a complete and utter tosser but it would be hard to say he doesn't deserve it. Liverpool were pretty gash under King Kenny. From nowhere to top three in the space of two seasons is no mean feat.

Moyes, Giggs, Solskjaer and Meulensteen. What a quartet....

For me it is Pulis.

When he went to Palace they had 4 points from 12 games. Since then they have 36 points from 22 games. In the context of where they were to where they are now it's a monumental achievement.

I fear however Rodgers may get the nod. An awful choice

Oops. Chickens and counting them etc.

A double in his first year and over 100 goals in league and a record 156 overall.

It must be Pellers, mustn't it....

Well it was Pullis - fair result really - he's done a fantastic job with Palace.

Any other manager who won a double in his first PL season would have won it though

Rodgers manager of the year - for what precisely ? Winning fuck all and having a team that scored the second number of goals, but had a defence leakier than a sieve

The way I see it is as follows...

Pulis, possibly one of the greatest escapes in a long while added to the results against scouser's and chelski in the last few weeks. Yes you could argue that both scouser's and chelski bottled it...

Bottom line is that "THE ENGINEER" in his first season in England has brought us 2 out of 4 trophies that ALL premier teams set out for each August. (Correction, 3 for anyone outside the top four).

Let Pulis have his five minutes.....

Tonight I would prefer to think that Manuel would rather have the following accolades of IN HIS FIRST YEAR.." Than a thinly veiled what the rest of the country thinks..

(A) winning the Premier League
(B) winning the league cup
(C) getting us further than anyone in the UCL
(D) being the first non European manager to win the premiership EVER
(E) doing in it style with the way we've played and his sheer class by not getting drawn in like the other cunty so called managers

How can Pulis win the Premier League one, but Rodgers wins the overall one - is it a sympathy vote? Will Stevie G get Sports Personality of the year?

I don't get that either. How can you not be the best in the premier league but be the best in the country? Surely the overall choice should have been from the individual league winners?

Anyway, that's what Pellegrini gets for not winning the quadruple that was a certainty, which is why it's been done so many times previously.

I wouldn't joke about it. Remember the year Giggs got it for doing fuck all....

Apparently only the third time the champions manager has been overlooked for this award. Anybody care to have a stab at one of the others? Has a double winning manager ever missed out before I wonder.

Carlo Ancelotti won the double in his 1 and only season and never won the manager of the year. Who cares anyway Pellers is a champion and league cup winner.

I just looked it up and discovered this. Bastard ha ha.
And I reckon Pells is the fourth then. Ancelotti, Mourinho and Bob missed out. It seems Manuel was not even nominated.

He was at Chelsea for two seasons, winning nothing second time around.
