For what it's worth the Daily Star (may 2013) and the Daily Mail (15 May 2013) both reported he had signed a 2 year deal. I knew I had seen it somewhere but others report three years?
Which shows the level of their journalistic integrity and commitment to fact checking. (and why I never buy tabloids)
