A phips/Saul lovefest might be too much for the site to handle.

The struggle bus might be full if those two partner up at the same bus stop.

He was quoted in at least one paper as saying there were talks IN JANUARY but they fell through. Others left out the January bit for good 'snub City' effect.

I reckon we just told him to do one and moved on somewhere else in Jan.

We'll soon find out as both Soriano and Khaldoon have promised us the same early batch of signings.

Corriere della sera saying we're very interested in signing Mehdi Benatia who is on a pittance at the moment. Obviously we could offer a huge increase in pay plus a giant birthday cake. Problem is Roma will want a small fortune for him with Barca and the Rags also interested. We're all fishing in the same small pool so there are no bargains to be had. I still think the link between the Fernando and Mangala deals make this double much more likely but we absolutely have to have a plan B

obviously everyone outside of the club has no idea about the club's transfer dealings but it seems like we've cooled on this guy for various reasons and moved on to Benatia…? or do people think we're still trying to get him?

We're in a good position for Benita and Mangala, I'm not really bothered which we get.

Let's forget Benatia because Roma's manager Garcia will never let him go! I'd try to sign Shawcross from potters.

Please, No! Nowhere near good enough. Poor on the ball, slow to react, always out of position. Like a shit Lescott.

In my short-- relatively-- time as a city fan I haven't really felt the urge to hate the red scouse like I do now. This year made a believer outta me.
