Fair enough. You want the Africans to play in the summer then? You Would Have To Basically Have it in the southern hemisphere. Seems unlikely.

Different from playing a World Cup in the middle of Summer in Qatar how exactly?

Precisely why they need to play in winter which is the crux of the issue.

Different because Qatar can afford to build air conditioned stadiums and African countries cannot. The Qatar games may yet be moved anyway...

Having seen a replay of that, it's tactically a complete mess. Why Fernandinho is so deep to start with I have no idea it allows the bloke a huge advantage & Kolarov is just absolute fucking shite. Gareth Barry would have just knocked the bloke over on the edge of their box, yelow card, attack over.

And Hart, Jesus H Christ.

It was a joke goal which should never have been scored.

Ted, a bloke behind me summed up my objection to Fernandino. Good footballer, zero presence. Saturday summed it up, worse than anonymous. But Christ, that effort from Joe was pathetic. As you said, stoke were superb and actually deserved the points. What with Stuart Pearce unbeaten we might have to revise some opinions.

Hart's effort reminded me of the Wigan cup final. That day if he'd just stood where he was instead of leaping around like a dying starfish he would've just plucked the ball out of the air without moving.

Same here, if he'd stood still he could've kicked it out easily - not as if it was hit with Aguero/Jovetic pace - surely you can take a look as you 'make yourself big'?
