Last throw of the dice.... They were on a downward spiral, so other than getting Delia back on the pitch to wind up their fans not sure they had another option they could live with

Hopefully they get a new manager in immediately... and a decent one... so that they can grab points off liverpool.

My thinking too, i actually had this down as one of Liverpool's harder games, before saturdays result Norwich were decent at home, they drew with us and shouldve beaten Chelsea only for a couple of late against the play sucker punches.

Adams has the job til the end of the season, our best hope of them getting anything from Liverpool is if they get nothing away to fulham next week and if they cant get anything away to fulham i wont hold my breath they will at home to liverpool. So i have this down as an away win.

If we want to win the league we are goin to have to do it the hard way and win every match, other teams and referees wont do us any favors.

They probably have someone lined up. It doesn't seem sensible to put their PL fate in the hands of an inexperienced caretaker.

Either way, let's hope there will be a bounce factor for the match against the dippers.

I like Chris Hughton - as do most people - but he does have his limitations.

Sacking the manager with five games left when four of them are among the strongest in the division is a recipe for disaster imo

They are already looking at the championship, no question.

I doubt there will be an appointment until the summer.

Hughton has had shit luck, hope he gets a good championship job next season and fucks over Delia.

Eh? Ok they have to play Liverpool and Chelsea, tough games 1 point if they are very lucky. They have a game against Fulham. They are also playing two mid table sides with no hope of champions league football whose league seasons are effectively over and are just going to coast through the final stages of the season drifting remorselessly towards obscurity and ruin.

Chris Hughton did well to last this long to be honest. I didn't think he would last that 7-0 hammering of our place. Hopefully the man who has taken over has got a clue tactially and can be disciplined defensively and secure a result against the Scouse.

Theyd have a better chance of doing this if they appointed a new manager - eg Makaay or some such. Putting an interim/caretaker in charge makes them getting anything against Liverpool highly unlikely. Especially as Norwich are Liverpool's bunny team.

Some weird rumours regarding Petrescu. He might take over.
