Genius Silva.
Honourable mention to Garcia (btw Fernandinho seemed out of sorts today, not sure if he was ill?)

Silva is the obvious choice but I'm giving it to Garcia thought he was very effective when he came on.I had him written off but he keeps improving.Hope he keeps it going.

I went with dzeko. Granted, he missed a few sitters but he set up two goals and scored one.

Silva worked harder than I've seen him do in ages and more than I am sure he would have wanted to.

Southampton running at us all afternoon didn't give him much time but still managed to make an impact and totally wasn't offside.

Silva. Some good cameos in second half but only big Dave could really hack in it midfield under pressure in the first half.

Great in the second half, anonymous in the first. Garci made a huge difference, but Merlin work tirelessly and gets my vote.....again

Thought Joe was good again, I know he didn't have a lot to do, but he's being nicely consistant

In my humble opinion, if we DO win the league, a large part of it will be because of Silva. He's like nothing I've ever seen in midfield, working, passing, defending, passing - all that's missing is a goal or two

Joe WAS good but his kicking let him down again today. Too many put us back under pressure.

Fernando?

Silva is the only one stood out today.

Silva's the obvious choice, but i genuinely thought Kolarov was good today. Solid defensively and beat his man a few times and put in some great crosses.

Silva also for me - made sure when we did have possession we did something with it! Dzeko a close 2nd - great play that came to a pen and a good goal plus a lot if hard work to boot!

I thought 3 of the back 4 were pretty good today with Zaba not at his best.Part of the reason why Southampton had plenty of the ball but didn't do a great deal with it. But it's hard to go against Silva as he continues to be a joy to watch.

Merlin for me. Killed the game off in 60 secs with his passing just before half time for Nasri's goal and the pass to Kolarov for Dzeko's goal.

I went for Yaya and his dive. Made Tom Daley look like an amateur.

Wasn't it Nasri who played the ball to Kolarov?
