Well i give it to Edin , poor pickings today.He had better games where he did no get my voice ,but today.Penno on him , brilliant heal to Silva even if was offside,and score goal.Yes he miss two good ones but he was there, had big impact on game.I m please we play poor first half and still won it . That is how Champions do it.

Silva's the obvious choice, but i genuinely thought Kolarov was good today. Solid defensively and beat his man a few times and put in some great crosses.

I thought 3 of the back 4 were pretty good today with Zaba not at his best.Part of the reason why Southampton had plenty of the ball but didn't do a great deal with it. But it's hard to go against Silva as he continues to be a joy to watch.

I thought Demi was the standout defender again, which is just too fucking weird considering how badly he was playing earlier in the season.

Demichelis was in the team of the year in la liga last year. We bought him because he is a good player. I now understand why he is preferred to Lescott.
