Yes it was and should have been a penalty against Skrtel if whu had not scored.

Just watch that idiot Skrtel again, push Carroll into his own goalie and force the goalie to lose the ball , for the whu goal.

Whu should be in front today, they have spurned a few chances and had to deal with Mason too.

That's what I thought but clever editing just shows Carroll smack Mignolet.

Sky are showing "a liverpool life" straight after the match.

There is another liverpool special the day after they play us.

Exactly ! If they run the complete corner again you will see Skrtel make the foul. I hope he continues this way against us next week.

The did their best to edit it out though.

Commentator called them the "nostalgists' choice" to win the title as the game kicked off.

As if there's a single motherfucker out there who misses the days of Liverpool winning the league apart from their own fans.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

The BBC love-in knows no fucking bounds. This from their website commentary:

"Liverpool still go top if this is a draw don't forget"

So fucking what? There's only one time being top matters, and it ain't now. Why not write: "If Liverpool don't manage a win they'll be only two points clear of Many City, having played two more games".

Or.... "Liverpool can't afford to drop points here, they've still got games against Man City and Chelsea"

Sickening, it really is.

To be fair Liverpool will probably get the win here one way or another. But it is nice to see them have to work for it for a change and not just being given points.
