Just turned the Chavs v Stoke game on and I'm bored already.

Easy win for Chelsea, looks like they now know where to concentrate their efforts.

How Luiz gets away with some of his tackles/antics I'll never know. I'm trying to work out which one's worse, him or Fellaini. Must be a hair thing.

I'm happy for Chelsea to stay in the race, I think there is less pressure for us vs 2 than one on one. I also think Maureen will get at least a point at Anfield.

And that's where the pressure comes. With 3 teams in the mix it makes it less a far gone conclusion. Not many times have we been in this situation, it's usually a foregone conclusion or maximum the likes of Arsenal and the Rags playing it out on the last weekend of the season.

My personal thoughts, Arsenal have fucked up by not capitalising on their decent start, failing to bring in a decent striker in the window. Liverpool always had a chance as like Arsenal they kept a settled squad and management compared to us, Chelsea and the Rags (ha ha ha).

Chelsea, for me, have the best midfield in the league but need to settle, like anybody else, it takes time. I think they're now concentrating on the league rather than the CL and will still be a threat. If Chelsea beat the Dippers and they get a result off us they'll be well in the mix so we've got to take them seriously.

I still think we have the upper hand though and feel that we're playing well within ourselves. We have a real chance without our best striker and if we get Sergio back to his true form then I think the rest will be running scared.

Time for the players to step up to the plate.

Anyone knows where Gudetti is? He made a lot of fuss after joining Stoke on loan about Hughes not giving him any game time after first three bench appearances ... but since then is nowhere to be seen again? Not making games and not making any fuss either?

He'll never play for City IMO

His injuries and timing of recovery etc were very unfortunately timed and id say he is now behind a number of younger eds lads in terms of first team chances

Yep. Shame for the lad but its part of football unfortunately. Wish him well where he ends up. Feyenoord are rumoured to want him back which would probably be a good starting point for him

£20 mil I'm sure I read they wanted for him. Everton making arsenal look average.

Everton really good to watch these days.
Great to see Barry so influential and Baines is fantastic. Also brilliant to see Distin still playing top flight football.

Makes Mourinho look a total idiot as well in that he allowed Lukaku to stay at Everton and yet still whines that he's not been given any strikers.

Looking very good Everton, let's hope they're clear in 4th spot when we play them - could be a very tough game but at least they wont have Baz.

Next season will be interesting for Everton, he's got quite a few loans so i wonder how many will end up staying and how he shuffles things around.

It's amazing how much more likeable a team is depending on their manager.
I really disliked Everton when Moyes was in charge but now with Martinez they play great football and are a very likeable side.
Hope they get 4th. Really do.

Their fans are still sanctimonious tossers though.

Not as sanctimonious as Arse fans imo, and delirious.
They couldn't shut up when they were riding high at the top of the table, and they still feel that they belong there.

How we did not win Arsenal ,really ?!
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
