We should win, if it was away to them, would be slightly concerned.
We have much more to play for than them, I'll go for 3-1 to us.

Here you go, it is leidesplein is the closest thing to Covent garden, great place to people watch after a belly full of beer and ribs whilst watching the footie.....

walked past it in February when there for business and even on a very wet Thursday night it was busy. Always best to get there early ;-)

If you don't fancy ribs, there are loads of decent restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Enjoy!!!

Agreed, I was in there for the League Cup final. The one you want is on the corner and has Pancake Corner in big letters on the wall.
Don't go to the Bulldog next door, it's pretty rubbish.

Following on from the posts above, I'm going to be in Munich this weekend.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to watch the football there?

I never watch football in Amsterdam, but close to the Leidseplein there's an Irish bar, which is quite good:

I've also heard of an Australian pub, which is very popular among expats:

For good food and beers, but no football I can recommend http://www.defles.nl/. It's a little bit off the beaten track for tourists, though. It's very cosy inside.

Saints have nothing to play for ... except audition for some of their players for Brazil ride ... but then when had anyone seen Roy Hodgson at any game other than when it's being played in London ... he's always seen at Arsenal or Spurs or even Fulham last week ... can't remember seeing him anywhere outside of London this whole season.

Well I went there and jesus christ mate it was a shit hole.

you couldn't just drink, you had to order food as well so I thought I would be polite and order food before asking about the game. Considering they had a shit load of tvs and utter shite on them, like F1 and rugby, I asked for the city game and she said she would look into it. the bitch took 30 mins to put it on, on a tv down the other side of the bar. And the food was utterly disgusting too.

I left at halt time and went to a bar down the road, some rock place that did cheap beer and had the game on a nice tv. was dead too.
Still here.
