Evra signed a 1 yr deal with United so I guess that means they've given up on Sagna...which is "good news" for us

Evra is a left back. Sagna is a right back... Evra re-signing is irrelevant mate.

Plus, the FFP sanctions say our wage bill has to be the same as last season. So if Lescott leaves and we sell Micah and Sinclair, 100k is a big chunk of that. Lescott alone was supposedly on 90k.
There is also the huge pay-off to Mancini and his staff on the wage-bill that comes off also (£30 million?). That would mean something like the equivalent of £900 thousand per week comes off in total (if reports are to be believed, more or less).

There are suggestions ont net that Mancini's payoff was deliberately put through the books as part of the wage bill in order to keep it high, so it gives scope for incoming players' wages re fighting the potential ffp corruption.

Yes, I've read that too. Usually payoffs are put through as exceptional items, but they classified Mancini's payoff (and his assistants') as wages for the reasons you said.
If true, a smart move by the club.

Probably but can't announce till 1st July ...
Actually that'll be when it's official from, but probably will announce earlier ... I guess reports are Fernando is very close too so maybe announce a double together? Especially now that Mangala deal is un-linked from Farnando's since he wants to wait till after the WorldCup hoping a London club goes for him ...

According to some french website Sagna has said he hasn't decided to join city and he'll decide his future after the World Cup. Whenever there's a delay in an announcement it means there's a hitch. All that stuff about not being able to announce till July 1 is absolute bollocks. Must be tempting to fuck him off and keep Micah in that case but he apparently doesn't want to stay....
