MotD

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

MotD

Postby AG7 » Sat Mar 15, 2014 10:30 pm

Tonight's MotD running order:

Hull/ManC
AV/Che
Swa/WBA
Eve/Car
Sou/Nor
St/WHU
Ful/New
Sun/CP

Coming up next on BBC 1 and HD ...

What are the odds that after showing the first two games, they'll say something like this (kinda like how I'd summarise the day) ... "One team went down to 10 at 0-0 and had 80+ mins ahead of them but pulled through and won 2-0 (which could even have been 4-0), while the other went down to 10 at 0-0 with only about 30+ mins to cope with but imploded in spectacular fashion that they ended up with 9 on the pitch and a manager on the pitch (which eventually got him sent off into stands as well) ...

I'm shattered but can't wait for this. Gonna be a late night/early morning with the GP on.

I wonder how we get on and hope Chelsea get beat by Villa ;-

Not sure if serious but 'City get going' and 'Maureen fucks off'.

Thank god no one put in a leg breaking challenge on Silva, otherwise MOTD would have needed to find time to squeeze it in

Why is their POLL tonight about Hull should've had a penalty or not? When clearly even their own pundits agree, the bastard was diving ... ??

And they did point to him spitting and that FA will want to look at it ... we shall see!

To be fair, that was some pretty good analysis from Savage re: Demichelis with/without Kompany. It's shocking that the Elmohamady assault didn't make the highlights package, though.

You'd have thought with the tackle at villa by ramires that it was prime for a comparison on the el mohamodi tackle but nothing.

At least they are consistently crap on MOTD.

By now, Slim may have enjoyed Alan Shearer's Earth shatteringly perceptive piece about how Tom Huddlestone sometimes stood in his own half.

So much more relevant than Silva's performance, which we can just take their word for, as most of it wasn't seen.

This is why our national team players are so good. Why would kids want to learn about Silva's movement and application, when they can look at the areas of the pitch Tom Huddlestone wasn't in ?

Where in the fuck was the leg breaker?

Where was any condemnation for the dive?

Oh FFS.

Now onto the mighty Villa vs the Moaners.

I am sure Everton v Cardiff would have been dead exciting if I didn't know the score, and hearing that young lad Seamus Coleman speak, wonder why he isn't being picked for England.(I heard this from someone who swore he was English even after I pointed out his first name)

The look on Smeagal's face was priceless though.

How can someone think he's English with a name like that. Some people do not engage the grey matter before they speak.
