How can someone think he's English with a name like that. Some people do not engage the grey matter before they speak.

And that must go down of one of the most hilariously, ironic posts ever on this board!!!

So much more relevant than Silva's performance, which we can just take their word for, as most of it wasn't seen.

This is why our national team players are so good. Why would kids want to learn about Silva's movement and application, when they can look at the areas of the pitch Tom Huddlestone wasn't in ?

On reflection and the fact I forgot about this discussion, I don't think Alan Shearer has any concept of a 3-5-2 transition. They sent 7 players forward and Huddlestone acts as a sweeper to give protection against the counter. Do you think when he played they just said "Alan, goal, ball"? Because basic tactics seem beyond him.

Leonardo adding a touch of class to the show this weekend, speaking a lot of sense as well.

Sat next to Shearer though, the cast of Jersey Shore would look like footballing savants.

It was pretty obvious that it was part of a plan by Bruce & Huddlestone was actually trying to put it into practice.

When you consider that Shearer was once, briefly, a manager, it's a bit worrying really. Amazingly, he managed to get 5 points out of 24 available.

Not seen the Leonardo MOTD yet.

Captain fantastic is the guest on MoTD tonight alongside Robbie Savage ... and our game is the first ... should be interesting hearing from him at this stage, as he'll not only do analysis of our game but will do all the games plus of course they'll be discussing the title race ...

Love it if Kompany and Shrek did a political style head to head like Farage and the Libdem leader(cant remember his name!).

Kompany would blow him out of the water.

As fantastic as he is, I really wish he didn't do this? I am sure he will be as professional off the pitch as he is on, but something about karma tells me we will regret having our Kaptain in the media like this.

Anyone know the running order btw?

Vinnie is pure class. I got a real man crush.

Glad to hear he condemned Yaya's dive. He did it in a very diplomatic way, though.

Was at the game.

I see MotD showed Yaya's dive (and rightly so) but they never showed the stone wall penno he should have gotten when he was pushed in the back when clean thru about 5 mins before that. Is that not a highlight????

Also they didn't show the tackle towards the end of the game that got Yaya really pissed off. I couldn't see it from the end of the ground I was at, so was looking forward (sic) to seeing it on TV.

Man, was he pissed at that. I really thought he was gonna be sent off he was so mad.

Haha that wasn't a peno either. I was sat behind the goals. I laughed at others sat near me who went mad, sometimes I wonder if people are watching the same match as me.

Would've been soft but Fonte did shoulder him in the middle of his back, not really enough to put him to ground but neither was Fonte's on Dzeko.

Yaya seemed to get really mad at Kompany for saying something to him.
