Yes I agree, we should, and as much as I like Micah I think the team has evolved beyond him now. The only problem is the English quota. If fringe players like Micah, Rodwell and Sinclair left, where do we get 3 English replacements?

All 3 are definitely improvements to the squad, but wouldn't come cheap.

Haha good point. There aren't many English people called Seamus.

And the quota isn't nationality, it's homegrown. Which he is.

Thanks for clearing that up. If we can get in at least one decent homegrown player to replace one of the sicknotes, I'll be happy this summer. A CB to partner Komps and RB to give Zabba a rest being the main priorities for me, can't make too many changes to a successful team at once.

He isn't mate, he didn't join Everton from Sligo Rovers until he was 20 so doesn't qualify as 'homegrown'.

Why have you put homegrown in quotation marks?

Do you debate the validity of the word?

Homegrown suggests grown at home but the majority of the time they're not, the FA say association grown and UEFA rules say association grown and club grown.

Doesn't matter if he's home grown or not Coleman is a quality player. Zaba can't play like he does 50 times a year for long.

Alves seems to be out of the question now
