Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Always been a fan of Richards, but I think the Watford game was a massive moment in his career at City as far as Pellegrini was concerned.
The fact he was taken off at half time with Rodwell says a lot.
However I think he might start tomorrow!

Think we need to keep him off the pitch if we want rid in the summer. Another performance like his last few and we'd be lucky if we could give him away.

I would've preferred to see him playing at CB today instead of the ponytailed one. Couldn't have done much worse. He did have one shot which with a bit of luck could've gone in but it seems his luck (like City today) has ran out !!

The lad just needs to stay fit for an extended period.
He's not become the player he threatened to when he broke through but he would still be a great squad player to have.

is he even a great squad player though? Surely a great squad player is Milner in that when he comes in he puts in a shift & you start wondering if you should see more of him, sadly something I haven't said about Richards for a couple of seasons now

I'd give him another season. If he can stay fit I'm confident he can be a big part of our plans. If he has another season of niggling injuries then we'd just have to show him the door.

I love Micah, but every game he has started this season we have struggled going forward. He stifles our attacking game. He simply isn't good enough of a footballer to be part of the pass and don game we're trying to play. Lets be honest, when Micah was a threat going forward, it was always on the counter, with great surging rushes. That's not what we (primarily) need right now.
He'd be great for West Bromwich or Stoke, though.

Passed the ball back or sideways a bit too much, was not getting in the right position on occasion, and was sloppy in the final 1/3. But there are a few positives from his performance; his pace is a real asset and he covered well, was strong in the tackle and very aggressive, and kept possession with some nice touches.
Can't really expect that much from him after being out for so long with a stop-start injury recovery. But it was an ok performance that he can build on if he hopefully stays fit.

Navas was up against 2 or 3 every time and he was waiting for the overlap which never came. Couldn't decide if it was tactical or just Micah failing to get forwards. Although when he did get forwards, he was no Zabaleta.
I think we need a new back up right back, to go with two new left backs and two left side centre halves and one back up right sided centre half and a new back up keeper. That's quite a list...

Need and "would like to have" are two different things. We're not Scum.

The lad that Micah collided with has a few fractures in his knee. That's what happens when you try to tackle a tank. Micah is a beast!

Is Micah injured again? If not can't believe Boyata is on bench ahead of him.

I don't know which is more upsetting for Micah.....if he did get injured again or if Pellegrini doesn't rate him this much

Micah cannot play two games in quick succession really can he? If he came on in this game does anyone not think he'd be a high injury risk?
I love Micah too I'm not being harsh it's just how I see it.
