He was absolute class before that long injury , since then pale shadow of fast train he was.

Patience? He's never fit and yet again he's injured. Unfortunately he's a sicknote and he has to go.

I think Micah had some bad advice when was young from some fitness coach to bulk up to much. He is just to huge in body for hes leags to support especially for hes position. Fullback must be more flexible because the amount of running and Body checks, and sliding tackle on him or from him. Simply too much muscle and pounds for that position for the amount of races and a lot of falling to the ground at full speed .

Supposed to have been offered a new deal which he turned down as he wants better terms & more game time. We should get what we can for him as can't wait forever for him to recover his form & fitness. Hardly played for 2 seasons & not good enough when he has. I know he's one of our own but! Mancini said he was made of glass & he may have been right

Could be said of any game he plays in, if he could just sometimes get over the ball rather under it and row Z it ;-)

Back OT, Micah, if they can sort his fitness, still has a part to play IMO

maybe i've missed it but what the heck is going on with him now?

his recent absence makes me wonder if the tabloid's claim that Sagna is coming to us is true....prob not but it appears we'll need a new RB this summer

Guardian saying Sagna has been offered a contract. Pretty much the end for Micah at City I think.

Don't care for him at all, but I suppose if he was on reasonable wages, then he can fill a gap in the squad until they find a kid to play there. He is an excellent crosser of the ball tbf.

Micah can't currently be replaced but if he's never fucking fit, that doesn't really make much difference.

using this amazing website called google, i was able to find this

The Home Grown player rule took effect at the start of the 2010/11 season and involves all Premier League Clubs.

All 20 Clubs must include eight Home Grown players out of a squad of 25 for that Premier League season.

A Home Grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

Clubs are able to supplement their squads with unlimited additional players under the age of 21 on 1st January in the year in which the season commences.

Changes to the squad list of 25 may be made during the period of a transfer window. So Clubs must declare their 25 at the end of August when the window shuts and then again at the end of January.

Looked a decent full back initially, then got Arsenalled ie just run about a lot and forget about defending, hence why they win nothing. Bit like Clichy, but put them in a proper defence, with midfield cover and they look OK again.

Not exactly Alves, but we can't go another season expecting Zabba to play 60 games.

Hopefully he's fit enough to play the Sunderland game. It's 4 days after Liverpool and Zaba will need a rest because WBA is 5 days after Sunderland.

Ohhhh, let's get Alves, much better choice. Can you imagine Kola one side and Alves the other?

Fucking nightmares for the opposition fullbacks.
