Travel to wembley on sunday

Postby ashton287 » Fri Feb 28, 2014 6:15 pm

Ad my car in to VW for a service today and 2 days before I plan on driving to wembley in it they tell me I need work doing and might not be able to pick the car up till Monday.

I have checked coach innovations and they are sold out. I need to find transport from manchester for 1 adult and 1 kid. Anyone know of anything? Spaces on minibuses/coach's or anyone driving down with spaces and would like to save half their petrol bill?

Bummer, shit VWs mate. Surely they can give you a courtesy car in the meantime?

Sorry, can't help but thought I'd sympathise if you don't make it ;-)

Found train tickets at half decent prices.

Anyone traveled by train, wembley stadium train station after the games. What's it like trying to get on the train?

It'll be rammed mate and keep your wits about you. Nowt to do with the oppo fans but more to do with the Old Bill. They want you out of there asp and will direct you to any train out of the area.

Coming back from the Rag semi we were told to get on a train that wasn't actually going to Watford. As usual, we all made the best of it but it put an extra 2 hours on our journey.

At that semi final, our coach was bricked and windows smashed on the way out by drunk rag fans who tried to break on. Their were kiddies on the coach who were terrified.
There wasn't a policeman in sight in the car park where it happened, too busy directing fans onto the wrong trains it seems.

Managed to get my car back today anyway. Gonna cost me about as much in petrol as the train would cost but atleast I won't have to deal with dickhead police now.
