A good solid cadre of Scum England regulars to provide backbone, spine and substance to the National team......

Denmark must be laughing their socks off at the prospect of playing against such a set of pilchards and making them look even more mediocre than ever.

It almost make you want to start supporting Scotland.....

Funny squad that.Obviously Woy is not picking players going on how they are performing.Barry and Adam Johnson should walk into that team on current form.He has players like Cleverly, Defoe,Smalling and Townsend who probably cant recall the last time they had a good game.

Loads of midfielders and only two centre halves (on assumption that Smalling isn't) Lescott must be really pissed off.

It is just a total piss take the whole England setup. Can't wait for the World Cup. Tom Cleverly! How on earth can he be even considered for England after his performances this season. Someone needs to have a word. If I'm being honest if they are selecting the likes of Cleverly and Young I'd prefer no City players be picked in fear of them getting injured. It's not as though they are going to win any international trophies!

I wouldn't have AJ near the squad, he's too inconsistent. Also he's a proper primadonna, he'd be stinking the atmosphere out if not selected to play.

I was watching a bit of that new football show on Sky Sports with Hodgson on the panel and one thing I found interesting was his comments regarding young players. When he was appointed the big thing that was promoted was that Hodgson would be focussing on young players and bringing them through for future competitions but on the show Hodgson stated that he picked players only with a focus of winning games and getting through to Brazil, and what he will need for that tournament.

So, in reality, he's not there to build a dynasty but to do what every other manager does; try to win the next tournament. There was me thinking the FA were building for the future and that the shit young Rag players were there for the greater purpose.

How fucking wrong I was.

If Cleverley, smalling, Carrick or welbeck are in the England squad for the World cup I'm boycotting every England game. I'm not wasting my time watching shitty rag players picked by a man that is clearly a rag licker and does not pick on merit.

Its been like this since the days of Ted Croker and Burt Millichip. Old farts more interested in their claret and trips abroad for convivial chats than winning things. Someone please dig up Brian Clough. Even his mouldering corpse got to be better than Woy

I gave up watching england ages ago. Money has killed the international team in this country in a way it hasn't (for some reason) in spain or italy. You watch england in other sports (rugby, cricket etc) more often than not there is hunger and passion. Give or take one or two the England players couldn't give a shit made all the more ridiculous by the selection being based on who you play for rather than if you are hungry and good enough.
If I signed for united tomorrow I dare say I would be inviting the family to Wembley so they could see me pass to the wrong side.
