League Cup final, roll call

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

League Cup final, roll call

Postby mr_nool » Wed Feb 19, 2014 3:07 pm

So, who's going? Where will everyone be drinking pre- and post game?
Anyone up for drinks in London on Saturday?

I'm flying in on Saturday morning. Will probably spend a few hours at a museum before checking in at my hostel. Would love to have a few pints in good company after that. Doom? Dub? Moonchesteri?

That's a shame! No tickets or just other things that got in the way?

Other things unfortunately!

Although, I never got close to getting tickets... saying that I probably would have chanced it and hoped to get some over there.

It's a pity alright - enjoy!

Going down on Saturday and staying in a decent Hotel reasonably closeby; then on the day will be taking our own buffet and
partaking in several canned ales on the steps near the turnstiles as we usually do.

Just hoping City actually turn up this time.

Saturday night Nools....we're on bitch. We should do a Sunday roast or some Dim Sum in Soho early afternoon and then head to wherever Andie's at when her coach arrives. I'll be staying in Central London, but we should spend some time drinking near Soho since that's my usual haunt and I am a fucking creature of habit.

I'll be shopping for the wife on Saturday morning/afternoon as my amazing giveback for letting me extend my work trip, which means i'll be gone for 3 straight weekends from home, but even she couldn't say no to a chance to see City in a cup final.

I'll message you my contact details dude...

Really really really really looking forward to this. I so need it, and i cannot wait to see Wembley again. My first and only trip was the Charity Shield loss to the scum so i'm hoping i'm not bad juju.

xoxo

Getting down there Sat afternoon, have my City car sticker for the train window - will need a can or two of 'bow i reccon for the journey!

We're staying over near Russell Sq so handy for nice real-ale pubs and not far from something a little livelier (i think although my knowledge of London is pretty shite!)

'Then it's over to our London residency - prob opt for cans near round-about again or maybe try and get in the Green Man depending on the time.

Cant believe its coming up so fast!! Sweet medicine after last nights defeat :-)

Fab, i'll pm you later.
On Sunday, I'll probably just have a full English somewhere and then head to Wembley earlyish. I'm definitely up for post match drinks, though. Not flying back until Monday afternoon.

Roger knows my ugly mug only too well, he will spot me so no worries if you are in the green man vicinity....happy to change and go elsewhere also, its not all about the green man if anyone has a better suggestion.
