Wonderwall wrote:how do you define this Breks? Genuine fans are allowed to follow City post Sheik Mansours acquisition. All this "I am a better supporter than you" is bollox. The older supporters will have the years of hurt and joy of watching City, Gillingham 99, Huddersfield 10-1 losing to Stockport County FFS and this is something that nobody can ever achieve as been and gone. It doesn't make us any better than a new supporter and doesn't make our views any more poignant.

Yes it does. If your an adult and you started supporting City post takeover your a glory hunter, fact. And they can fuck off. If you're not one what's your problem?

City are growing week by week and are going to attract more people from further a field or people that come for a day out. We are pushing to be one of the biggest clubs in the world so this is inevitable. It can and will detract from a match day atmosphere but we want to be a global brand so will need to accept this. We can't have it both ways.

We don't need glory hunters to fill the stadium we have always had a good fanbase.

silly reaction thread to a bit of banter in another thread.

what i meant was I'd rather have a full stadium.
i stated supporting City around 76/77 - post League Cup success and around the time they had given Liverpool a damn good thrashing in the league so I suppose you could say I'm a glory hunter :-)
