I think you all know what happend with their president Rosell, but it looks like the situation is really on fire. A friend of mine that works at a newspaper in Madrid told me that the situations is even worst and Barcelona could have to pay almost 160 mil pounds, all cash down to the IRS if the board that is reported to investigate the situation will found them guilty.

Knowing how far in dept they are (them and Real), how will that affect us? There might be problems on the salary ground and we might find a team that is not paid and with the tension going to the roof.

Beside that, it think i has to be asked. Can we profit if the situations goes into flames there? And by profit i mean taking a raid there for some players and we all know who is the big prize there.

Should we? Would we?

Yep. They may end up having to pay a small fine or something but nothing that really matters

Politics may play its part. Madrid may see this as an opportunity to influence the Catalan independence debate.

Is this was an English club UEFA would be all over it like a rash. This absolutely stinks and i doubt this is the end of it. Both Barca and Madrid have likely been getting away with shit like this for years and now its hopefully coming home to roost. A cheeky bid of £125m wont persuade them to sell but it will be a statement of intent and show we have the financial muscle they haven't. Might just unsettle them and ruffle a few feathers
