Posted from iPad I'd guess?

As for Lescott I read that as being presently in London and him not going anywhere..

Ian I think Lescott played his last game for us tonight from his words in the interview. We just made a Wembley Final and he say's you never know when asked if he would still be at the club.If it was me and I wanted to stay I would have said damn right I will bring it on.

Sorry Michael, I didn't see the post match VT, just went on the comments in the link OD gave, doesn't sound good in that case (unless you are CFTG of course)...

I was sure I heard him say I hope so when asked if he would still be here. Maybe even Carl would like him around .

He certainly wasn't offering us any assurances was he? If he is on the move I presume we have to have someone lined up ourselves.

I think OD was referring to this marble-mouthed quote:

"Obviously that’s what we struggle to do, to win trophies and long may it continue."

I dont recall ever wanting him out of the squad , I just didnt want him as a first team starter , but that goes for Nasty as well...we need a replacement if hes going elsewhere and someone that is head and shoulders better than those 2.

It probably should read "striving". Maybe they have a foreign intern on the OS?

English people on the whole don't speak English very well, so he probably did say 'struggling' but most certainly meant 'striving'.

I like it when Jolene plays West Ham, he looks like a good player!

I too got the impression he was off.

he should not be sold unless we have a better replacement, which we dont, them other two, one has his best years behind him and the other wont have any good years.

Well judging by his comments, he doesn't want to go, so unless we are signing another player I very much doubt he will be going anywhere til summer.

Dont think he wants to go but knows he has to go to get football. Not easy going from a team at the top to a team at the bottom.

That was the one mate.

What fuckwit had "struggling" instead of "striving"?

Apologies for the triple thread. This phone does my nut in on the site sometimes.

BRF - it probably wasn't tyler, but you're on the right track I'd say... closet rags are even more dangerous...

If it's upto him, I don't think he'll go now or next season. But it's not.

Imo we should sign a new cb, offer Lescott a new deal for 1 or 2 years, & if it turns out he's not getting games, offer him the chance to leave. For the sake of cutting his wages off the bill, it's not worth losing him.

He is well worth the money we pay him. If we find we truly don't need him, then let him go. But withthe injury record of VK, & the dodginess of Nastasic, even if we do sign a new cb, we may find we are glad to have JL at the club for another season at least.

He has the same mindset as Barry had , they want first team football (understandable at their age) and he will not get that at City so its more him that's forcing the issue for us to replace him and not us , imo.
