The View from the Away End

A slightly short view for this week. I have waited as long as can, and there just isn’t any real chat about this game. There are lots of comments about ticket allocation and pricing, but that’s about it really. I have included a couple of comments about the last game to start things off. Sorry its short, but it’s not about the size .....enjoy

Team Selection

Robinson, Henley, Dann, Hanley, Spurr, Lowe, Cairney, Marshall, Taylor, Rhodes, Gestede

And the rest...

Cairney was looked like a prem player out there, very comfortable on the ball, sprayed it wide very effectively to Marshall on numerous occasions, 500K is a steal for a player like him

Absolutely brilliant!! Especially chuffed that we came from a goal down. I bet those City bastards had written the game off at half time.

As bad as it sounds, i'd rather we have a decent loss to Man City. A 1-0 defeat.

Reason being, we should have full focus on getting to the top 6 and attempt to get back into the PL. Not beat city in the FA cup. I'm sure everyone would rather PL than the FA cup title.

If we win then we're the first team to beat City at home this season too. Now that would be a nice bragging right!

The problem we had last season knocking out Arsenal is that Appleton then thought every game we played required all hands on defence and nothing going forward. Hopefully Bowyer doesn't make the same mistake! From the first game at Ewood we didn't just sit back against City and i hope we don't sit back this time either

An injury-prone Aguero facing Grant Hanley? I give him two minutes.

Tch tch, shame really ... a championship side coming to fortress Etihad to face mighty Man City and their fans are not chuffed ... even after they hard fought a draw at theirs and earned a right to replay here ... really pathetic, their attendance at first game wasn't anything to write about either ... shame what chicken people have done to them ... and this is a club which won a Premier League title even before Arsenal or Chelsea did ...

This guy sounds like he has come from the Alan Pardew School of Football. Clown
