It was a training game. We got beat 3-0. It was very like the U21s last night where we dominate possession but we didn't score. Think the stats were 17 shots to us 0 goals, 4 shots to them 3 goals. We did some good stuff and some not so good stuff. We will be pretty much at full strength for the Durham game on 23rd.

Thanks.Where and what time is the Durham game being played?

its away in Durham. No idea of the location.

Not how I would have wanted it at all. Gutted for both of them. I now have to real get my head down and train well. Its been weird as recently I have been better in games than I training. I just need to relax when at training which I haven't been doing. 6 weeks to get in right.

Practice? We talkin bout practice. Not the actual game...but practice!

Just rock out with yr cock out. You'll be fine. Thinking is every elite athletes nightmare IMHO. Which is why many of the best are supreme thickos.

Dumb it down and be loosey fucking goosey.

If you need anymore shit advice PM me.

Cheers

SoF may have more info but I believe it's being played at New Ferens Park ( never heard of it so it's a look up job) and the start time is 2pm.

Watched the girls train again tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it once again. Great attitude and effort all round and I believe they are training again tomorrow morning at Platt Lane before the 16's and 18's play at 11am.

Each section of the session today had good intensity and has then working hard at their movement off the ball as well as close control and passing.Still getting to know all the names so I won't start throwing too many about as it would mostly be about the internationals I am aware of.A bit of a shame it started to get a bit windy as it definitely had an effect on the passing when they started on a game with 5 attackers breaking on 4 defenders.Andie was the only keeper and keeping everything out at one end bar a 1 on one with Toni Duggan. She was offside anyway but nobody saw me flagging.

I had the chance of a short chat with Karen Bardsley the injured keeper was there watching on and waiting for a physio session.Seems to be really enjoying things so far ( stress fracture to the foot aside) and can't wait for the season to start knowing it's a great challenge that lies ahead.

Next friendly away in Durham and then one at home somewhere and I am holiday..gutted.

New Ferens Park is where Durham City play, Sunderland used to play their reserve matches there (they may still do it's been years since I went) it also was an artificial pitch as they had some bother in the FA cup a few years back. It's just off the A1(M) on the industrial estate before you get into Durham so access is easy.

Excellent thanks, my kids have played there in the past only 20 minutes away for me so hoping my youngest sons game doesn't clash with the 2pm ko

No mate. I know Kiers has contacts with Diane. I want to either auction them off for a charity of the families choice or give them to the boys. Will see what they would like to do.
