Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

In a world of awful co commentators and soccer pundits Michael Owen stands out heads and shoulders above the rest as the worst of all time. Every single person that I know who watched the game on Monday said that he was ruining the game for them. BT should cut their losses with him as no one will ever take them serious as long as Owen is working with them.

Nope....I consider myself quite tolerant, but he is a tit of the highest order

Unfortunately the voice coach's remit is to make him less excitable

If he's under contract and they havent sacked him maybe they can turn him into a studio pundit - I never listen to those bits anyway.

He's apparently live tweeting the game ... and in the middle somewhere he says, oh I'm not watching it but this should be this ...
Here's his exact tweet:
@themichaelowen: Not watching the match but surely Wenger must stick with The Ox. Without him Arsenal lack pace in the absence of Walcott.

If it can be believed I think his commentary on todays game plumbed new depths, even for him.

Yeah, but we wouldn't hear the crowd then.
Lol.

Rather listen in silence than listen to that old woman Owen.

He was always mundane in post match interviews and after every word it was "y know" so I'm surprised they employed him for commentary. He's definitely sound down material.
