Not really mate. He's scored some important goals for sure. But how many times has he gone missing? 4 or 5 good matches since he's been here. And there's that free kick as well.

But on that freekick, if someone kills someone once are they not a murderer for life?

To play devils advocate if you lose weight are you fat for life? Weird analogy you used there.

If you prove you've lost the weight then obviously not. Maybe my example wasn't the best. Has Samir proved he's not a coward anymore? The answer is no.

I agree with that, I just don't think he could never work to fix it.

Will he? Probably not, he hadn't just shown up for pep overweight, he was a big tub when here in preseason last year. He's not been fit for two years for my money and I also don't trust his attitude.
Tracking back is overrated.

On his way to sevilla on loan with option to buy. We have become a registered charity I think.

Just shows his heart isn't in it anymore. Who knows, maybe being exiled from the French NT with the Euros in France demoralized him.

While I've praised his talent many times, other posters are right; showing up for training with a new manager overweight is extremely unprofessional. Especially when that new manager does wonders with players exactly like Samir.

The one thing we can't afford at the moment is bad attitudes pulling the whole team down. And we're not exactly struggling for attacking midfield options this year...

Spot on. Shame really as I feel he could've done so much more with his career if he had been arsed.

We literally get fucked over every time we offload a player. I wonder if the likes of Madrid barca Bayern Chelsea get the same sort of shite deal for players moving on...

Yep, it seems we can't offload our driftwood without taking a serious hit. Hope the rumours of Bony off to China in January are true as we should get a serious fee for him.

Never would have believed in a million years that both nasri and hart would be gone before any of bony, yaya or navas.

I've always had a soft spot for Nasri. he's a fantastically gifted footballer who's attitude has let him down. I had hoped for him to find his ways under pep rather than being shipped out, but I guess we have to trust the gaffer.

For all of you happy to see him go - do you think bringing Navas on instead of him would have had the same impact on Sunday?

That's a fair comment Mr Nool.

It's a great shame given his abundant technical abilities but, as you say, we've got to trust the Boss.
