Something we missed for years; a big fuck off centre forward who will bully defenders all game. That he can play football a bit is a bonus of course. Love his attitude.

Take him and his work rate over Dzeko any day, esp in big matches.
My heart aches everytime we are loosing and Negredo comes to put us one up and we still loose, because he fucking didnt have enough time on pitch to win it for us.

I wasn't especially over the moon either after I heard we've splashed that money on a 28year old who I thought wasn't that good. The thing is, I saw him lot of times for Sevilla but he never caught my eye.
But, what a player he's been so far. Very impressed so far!

If Pellegrini wants to play a pressing game from the front to the back I don't se how Dzeko fits into our plans at all. Negredo is made for English football. He can also play on his own up front which is what Pellegrini should be doing against the top teams. A great big tick from me.

Same with me as I had hardly heard of him but what a player he is. Strong and works his socks off and not selfish (his goal looked like he was trying to pass to Aguero. I would say he's been our best buy since we got Aguero and that's been a while.

Another great game today, strong, aggressive, passionate, what's not to like about the guy. Edin needs to pay attention to how Negredo is performing.
