Silva played some of his best football just behind a striker last year, maybe that's our plan if need be? Would also give Navas / Milner more game time. Just a thought.
Personally would have preferred we kept the beast for now though.

Playing one out and out striker with one of Silva, Yaya or Nasri just behind, with a midfield of Fern, Fern and Milner is hardly cause for panic

I very much prefer this idea instead of pushing Yaya forward. Yaya is imo the biggest threat when he makes his runs from deep.
I'll be sad to see Negredo go.

I'm right behind you on this one brother. The Beast was our only tough striker and we will miss that during the season.

We will miss the early season Negredo who was fantastic, but not the bag of shite which played the 2nd half.

Bit gutted if I am honest as was sure we would see the best from him again. All weird that he went to shit after being so good.
Something must be in the offing and hopefully city will have a deal without anyone catching on about it.
Maybe Benjani is in an airport somewhere?
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Well the bag of shite Negredo might still have got their first once or twice on corners instead of Peter fucking Crouch EVERY time on Saturday.

Negredo wants to leave. If a player wants to leave its often best to move him on.

Jovetic is over six foot! Not sure where the idea that he's a midget comes from.

Hope you're wrong with your assessment Steve, but I don't think you are.
At the end of the day, I could see us playing/having to play with a 'false No.9'.

Yeah I can agree with that, though with Yayas current attitude / fitness I would be concerned about relying on him. With that in mind if there was ever a player to rise to the occasion it's him. So plenty of options even with the three strikers.
We all know negreds offered something different though and I imagine all hoped he would find form again. Such is football.

None of our forwards can be midgets. If they were then surely they would be working in a circus.
