He really wouldn't have been in help this season so far.

You think so ??

Although he's still unavailable through injury, I always felt he was a popular influence in the dressing room and that might have been of benefit to us.

Isn't he still injured?
He hasn't played so far for Valencia.

Just edited my last post to clarify what I was meaning and your post came in and beat me to it, as it were.

Pellegrini says we need three or four more players to get up to Real Bayern Barca level.

I'd wholeheartedly agree with that. Look at the line ups in el classico and compare directly to our first team.

Atleti won La Liga and beat both sides without a squad anywhere near as good as ours. We don't need new players, we need new ideas.

Mmmm....interesting.

You might have to expand your thinking on this and share it with us all.

However, here's a quite revolutionary idea; if we go out and score more goals than the opposition, we might win a few games.

He also needs to wise up. He is making Mancini mistakes now.

Playing yaya

Always 2 up front

Full team in league cup.

Pellegrini needs to sort out the team defending properly. We haven't done well in that area throughout his reign, he needs to sort it.

Attacking wise - in the final season under Mancini, we didn't score as many goals as previously due to us passing the ball too slowly. We are repeating the same mistake again, no tempo, passing the ball far too slowly and at times trying to walk the ball in through the middle and neglecting the width provided by our full backs.

We have no wingers to speak of really - Navas is not the answer.

We went into this week needing 3 wins - one of those games has already gone now, doesn't bear thinking about if we draw or lose to United and fail to beat Moscow. In the space of a week, we'd be out of the League Cup, 8/9 points behind Chelsea after 10 games....and out the Champions League all by Bonfire Night.

He's factually right though isn't he !?

I hate it when a manger of ours comes out with this excuse as its bollocks, we have the best fuckign team in the prem so its down to him and how he fucking manages us.

Up to now he's been pap and he will go if we don't turn the corner fuckign soon.

By 3 players, I assume he means Ronaldo, Bale etc ? The way City are playing, if you put Benzema, Bale & Ronaldo in the team, we would get fucking torn to shreds. All 3 are fucking useless when they lose the ball & like to shoot a lot.

It would be fine when we leg it forward, but they'd better fucking score straight away.

Conversely, if you fucked off Benzema & put Aguero or Dzeko in Real's team, they would never lose, as he misses shedloads of easy chances.

Real Madrid's team, vs the scouse, carried the lack of graft from Ronaldo & Benzema, by the rest of the team running their bollocks off, even Isco. We don't.

Also Pepe 1v1 was like a brick fucking wall, not an old knackered woodworm filled fence like our cbs this season. Marcelo did more work in that game than Kolarov has in his whole career.

If we worked as hard as Real, Bayern (& Barca used to), we would need ONE player, of Ronaldo, Messi level to be as good as them.

I'm starting to think that if Guardiola was at the club, that's the kind of effort level we would see, every week & neither Mancini nor the Count can get the players to produce it. The Count has a slight excuse, that it isn't actually his team, & he does seem to be trying to sign more athletic players even if they haven't always produced it. But I have the feeling that Pep, or Baconface, would have this lot legging it around like fuck, within two weeks.

I have said Pep has to be our next manager, for some time now. I also fear we will stall further than we have, we need a win tomorrow badly, if we lose, the season imo is lost and Pellers will be in trouble that he will not be to control, the hacks are gathering. I have been away all week, pretty glad I have, just hope to fuck we don't kick start the red cunts season that will be unforgivable.

something tells me the back room staff aren't gonna hand the reins over to unproven Vieira. City is too big for him at this point.

Couldn't believe the changes. Gave the scum the momentum. Would have been all manuel's fault had we not won.
